Fortnite player first to reach elusive game island

A Fortnite player in Croatia has completed one of the game's hardest achievements - getting back again to its starting point.

YouTuber OrangeGuy put up a video displaying how he managed to reach "spawn island" where players collect before each round of the survival game starts.

He reached the island by using a significant bridge and one of the shopping trolleys recently introduced to the overall game.

Landing on the island has been a long-cherished goal among Fortnite players.

Game physics

Each circular of the hugely popular Fortnite game entails 100 players who fight to see who can be the last player position. Through the game, players get guns and materials, such as lumber and bricks, they can then use to build set ups. Clever use of the structures can provide players an edge during firefights.

As each group of players is amassed, they are simply placed on the neutral territory called "spawn island" where they can fool around before online combat begins.

After the game begins the island is noticeable from the key playing area but, until now, no-one has got back to it once the bullets start flying.

OrangeGuy, by using two friends, been able the feat by first building a considerable, high bridge that extended across the majority of the gap between your two areas. The bridge finished with a ramp that he and his two team-mates rode down on a shopping trolley.

The electronic vehicles were put into the overall game in a recent update and many folks have used them to stage crazy stunts by exploiting the loose physics of the Fortnite game world.

In cases like this, driving the trolley appeared to overcome the invisible wall membrane that thwarted other attempts to reach the island. By the end of the ramp the trolley remained airborne and slowly and gradually floated to the starting point.

In remarks on the video tutorial, Orange Person said the team needed to be "lucky" to make it.

Since OrangeGuy discovered the "glitch" a great many other players have copied the technique and managed to go back to the same place.
